Multi-Union Pride float draws Pride cheers
August 7, 2007
More than 300,000 people jammed the streets of Vancouver's West End Sunday for what may have been the largest-ever Pride Parade and the BC Federation of Labour's Multi-Union Pride was in the thick of the celebration.
More than 125 trade unionists from a score of affiliates marched behind this year's float, which featured a huge globe to highlight the fight for rights for GLBT communities around the planet. Federation president Jim Sinclair joined the marchers.
