When's the last time they supported a minimum wage increase?

April 17, 2007

On his online site strategicthoughts.com pundit David Schreck takes aim at the corporate apologists opposed to increasing the minimum wage.

Some of the business lobbyists claim there’s no need to increase the minimum wage because employers are already paying more. Other business groups like the Chamber of Commerce continue to defend no increase to the minimum wage because minimum wage earners may not be the primary wage earner in their family. Kind of hard when you’re making $8 an hour.

Any surprise Gordon Campbell has never supported a minimum wage increase?
